Health and Safety Awareness/Environmental Awareness
These are short courses that can be run in house for up to 12 delegates. Up to 3 courses can be run per day. Delegates will receive an understanding of health and safety law/environmental law and their legal obligations for the safety of themselves and others/protection of the environment. These courses are ideal as an induction course for new employees or a refresher for existing employees.
Introduction to OHSAS18001/ISO14001
These are short courses that can be run in house for up to 12 delegates. Up to 3 courses can be run per day. Delegates will receive an understanding of the requirements of the management standards and how to implement them. These courses are ideal for managers, supervisors and any other employee who will have involvement in the development and implementation of the standards.
H&S Risk Assessment and Environmental Aspects and Impacts Evaluation
These 1 day courses can be run in-house for up to 12 delegates. Delegates will receive an understanding of the law and how it relates to risk assessment and will also learn how to identify hazards/aspects, evaluate risks/impacts and identify control measures. These courses are ideal for companies wishing to train and retain their own in-house team of assessors.
CIEH COSHH Awareness
This half day course can be run in house for up to 12 delegates. 2 courses can be run per day. Delegates will receive an understanding of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations and how it impacts on their work activities and processes. This course is ideal for employees who work with/handle hazardous substances during the working day.
Health and Safety Auditing and Environmental Auditing
These 2 day courses can be run in house for up to 12 delegates. Delegates will receive an understanding of the requirements of OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 and learn the principles of effective internal auditing. This course is ideal for managers, supervisors and employees who intend to form part of the in-house auditing team.
Accident/Incident Investigation
This 1 day course can be run in house for up to 12 delegates. Delegates will receive an understanding of accident definition, accident costs, accident reporting and accident investigation methods/techniques. This course is ideal for managers, supervisors and safety representatives who have a duty to investigate accidents and incidents in the workplace.
Managing Contractors
This short course can be run in house for up to 12 delegates. Up to 3 courses can be run per day. Delegates will receive an understanding of implementing policies and procedures for vetting, selecting and controlling contract workers on site. This course is ideal for managers, supervisors and maintenance personnel who bring contractors onto site to carry out work.
Manual Handling
This half day course can be run in-house for up to 12 delegates. Delegates will receive an understanding of the effects of poor manual handling and the benefits of applying good techniques and principles when carrying out manual handling tasks. This course is ideal for employees whose activities include the manual handling of loads.
Manual Handling Instructor
This 1 day course can be run in-house for up to 6 delegates. Delegates will receive training in how to adopt safe practices when lifting, how to prepare a training session and how to teach others to move loads safely. The cost of the course includes all the necessary training materials to enable delegates to deliver their own in-house manual handling courses. This course is ideal for managers, supervisors and employees who are interested in and have the ability for teaching others.
Fire Marshal
This short course can be run in-house for up to 12 delegates. Up to 2 courses can be run per day. Delegates will receive an understanding of how fires start, how fires spread and fire control measures. In addition, they will also take part in a practical fire extinguishing session. This course is ideal for managers, supervisors and employees who have a responsibility for safe evacuation of the workforce.
 
IOSH Directing Safely
 
This 1 day nationally recognised course can be run in-house or at our associated training centre for up to 12 delegates. The course is designed for Directors of companies who have legal responsibilities for health and safety. The course aims to provide delegates with an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities and accountabilities that company Directors have in law.
 
IOSH Managing Safely
 
This 4 day nationally recognised course can be run in-house or at our associated training centre for up to 12 delegates. The course is designed for managers/supervisors and those within their company who have management responsibility for health and safety. The course aims to provide delegates with the underpinning knowledge to more effectively manage health and safety within the areas under their control.
 
IOSH Working Safely
 
This 2 day nationally recognised course can be run in-house or at our associated training centre for up to 12 delegates. The course is designed for employees at all levels and provides a basic underpinning knowledge of health and safety law, hazard identification, risk assessment, accident prevention and general health and safety principles.
