Risk Assessment has been a legal requirement for a number of years. Yet there are still many companies who have difficulty in carrying out suitable and sufficient risk assessments for legal compliance and the protection of their employees.

We can assist you with hazard analysis and risk assessment. We can also train your employees to carry out risk assessments in-house, see our Risk Assessment Training...
Accident Investigation Service
Millions of pounds are lost every year to UK businesses through accidents and occupational ill health at work. Employers and their insurance companies face hefty compensation claims that they are unable to defend.
One way to reduce this burden is to carry out thorough investigations into accidents and cases of occupational ill health. When you have defined a root cause, it is easier to put in place corrective and preventive action.

We can help you with your accident investigations, or we can carry them out for you. Alternatively, we provide training for your managers and supervisors to enable them to become effective investigators themselves, see our Accident Investigation Training...
Health and Safety Audits
Don’t let the title put you off! Like any other business management system, Health and Safety management systems require ongoing evaluation of effectiveness. You can do this through planned auditing of the system (a requirement of OHSAS18001).

Our Associates have extensive auditing skills and can provide a thorough audit of your health and safety management system. They are also qualified to train your employees to a standard where they can become your in-house auditors, see our Health and Safety Audit Training...
Fire Risk Assessment
As with other risk assessments, the requirement to carry out a fire risk assessment has been a legal obligation for a number of years. Every year businesses are seriously affected or even destroyed by fire.
Our fire specialist has many years’ experience and has carried out fire risk assessment in a variety of workplace environments including forges, factories, warehouses, offices, schools and shops.

Occupational Health Surveillance
Our occupational health specialist has many years experience with a huge variety of people and occupations in a wide range of industrial environments.
Health surveillance is something you cannot avoid. It is a legal requirement under certain Health and Safety legislation including Lead at Work Regulations, Asbestos at Work Regulations and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations.
Health surveillance also makes good business sense. Screening out potential future claimants helps reduce the burden on your insurance premium. Ongoing health surveillance can be valuable in spotting early signs of any occupational disease or condition.
When you know what’s happening, you can make plans to deal with it. If you just let things creep up on you, one day you will be overwhelmed. Don’t let that happen to you.
