Fire Marshal Training
Course to become a Fire Marshal
Protect your business from the damaging effects of fire
People are killed or injured every year in fires at work. The financial consequences of fire can also be devastating. Some companies never recover.
It would seem sensible that businesses do all they can to protect their staff and their business from the damaging effects of fire.
Fire Safety Regulations
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, employers must ensure that their employees are provided with adequate safety training.
On our Fire Marshal course, delegates are shown the correct procedures in the event of fire. They are taught how to prevent and deal with fires.
Just in case the worst happens, clients will learn how best to protect themselves from fire and how to move in smoke. We also help them to understand the principles of combustion and demonstrate practical uses of fire extinguishers.
The Fire Marshal or fire warden needs to know how to use fire extinguishers and, when trained, will have specific duties towards fire prevention and evacuation.
Legislation has changed!
Remember that Fire Safety Legislation has changed! It is now your responsibility to ensure your business meets Fire Safety criteria set by government legislation. You will be penalised if you don’t have correct procedures and documentation in place.
