We can assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance your existing environmental management system and aid with legal compliance and progress towards the international standard ISO14001.
ISO14001 Environmental Management System
Many customers are now mandating that their supply chain achieves the international environmental standard ISO14001 in order to maintain business relationships. We are able to carry out a preparatory environmental review (gap analysis) of your existing system and prepare a plan of action to work with you in the development and implementation of any necessary improvements to meet the stringent requirements of the standard.
Aspects and Impacts Evaluation
Although not a legal requirement, aspects and impacts evaluation is a fundamental part of any good environmental management system (mandatory for ISO14001). Much like risk assessment, this enables employers to understand what activities and processes within their business have an affect on the environment. We can carry out this evaluation and prepare an action plan to work with you and put in place environmental objectives and targets and environmental programmes to address the findings.
Environmental Audits
As with quality and health and safety, environmental management systems require ongoing evaluation of effectiveness. This can be achieved through planned auditing of the system (a requirement of ISO14001). Our network of Associates have extensive auditing skills and can provide a thorough audit of your environmental management system and also train your employees to a standard where they can become your in-house auditors (see training services).
